💎 My journey
💙 All my life I have pleased others. Before myself, and often at the cost of myself I have pleased others. This was my pattern, created in childhood, but no doubt inherited through my female and my Irish Catholic ancestry. To not please others was wrong, evil, you were a bad girl.
It ran my life, made my career choices, my hobbies. Making sure that I fit in. In doing so I not only lost myself but I forgot what brings me joy. I was living small, giving up what made my heart sing in the quest to please others....because even what I loved wasn't acceptable.
This was just one of the transformations that came about. I remembered what made me happy, and I started to do it...unapologetically. And guess what? I was accepted. Although quite frankly I wasn't assed what people thought any more. So what if I want to work with Angels and Goddess energy? I am doing good.
My voice came back and with it came "me too." I don't put others before me now...I am right up there with them. I feel more comfortable in who I am, and the old pattern of self sacrifice has been released. Balance is here. 💙
